Traditional magic cookie bars call for graham crackers that contain gluten making it difficult for those who follow a gluten-free lifestyle. Not only are these cookie bars gluten-free, but they are also extremely delicious and rich.

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350℉.

  2. Grease a 13x9 inch baking dish.

  3. For the crust mix all wet ingredients in a bowl, then add the dry ingredients and stir. Press the crust into the bottom of the prepared pan.

  4. Pour the can of condensed milk evenly over the crust.

  5. Layer chocolate chips, nuts, and then coconut.

  6. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool before serving.

There is a reason that these are called “magic” cookie bars. There is a sweet creaminess holding all the nuts, coconut, and chocolate together. These bars are sweet, soft, moist, and rich in flavor. They have a density about them that will leave you happy and satisfied. Enjoy this beautiful dessert with your favorite hot drink.
